NAHB Board Delays Dues Increase

Pursuant to a plan approved at the IBS 2013 Board of Directors meeting, the national portion of the Builder and Associate dues rate was scheduled to be $198 for membership periods beginning January 1, 2017. However, during the Annual Board meeting this week, the Board passed a resolution to delay the implementation of the $16 per member increase until January of 2018. Related to the decision to delay implementation, NAHB has committed to develop an outline of a proposed updated membership and governance model, as well as the evaluation of a plan to index future dues increases to cost of living increases.
