On Friday, February 24, over 160 young professionals and building industry leaders attended the inaugural networking seminar at Beach Haus Brewery, hosted by the newly-formed NJBA Young Professionals Council. Among those in attendance were NAHB 3rd Vice Chair Dean Mon, NJBA President Dwight Wesley Pittenger, Esq., NJBA Past President Robert Fallone and NJBA Officers Corey T. Wescoe and Michael T. Kurpiel. The event raised over $5700 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

The seminar portion of the event featured a panel of building industry leaders Arvo Prima, President of Pr1ma Builders; Anthony Rocco, Division President of Toll Brothers; and Steve Schlageter, Division President of Pulte Homes. Brian Smiga, founder of TEDxNavesink moderated the panel and shared best practices for building and cultivating relationships in the industry. Georgette Kyriacou, Chair of the NJBA Young Professionals Council and Christopher Amato of CMM Construction opened and closed the event, respectively with presentations encouraging young professionals to network and get involved with their local, NJBA and NAHB.
