Dominick Paragano learned much of his craft from his father, master builder Larry Paragano. The senior Paragano spent many years teaching his son the various aspects of the business where Dominick worked many summers as a carpenter, landscaper and mason’s laborer.

After graduating from Villanova University, Mr. Paragano went to work for his father full-time and was assigned the task of working with a variety of subcontractors. Mr. Paragano received an informal, but invaluable, education working with the various tradesmen who shared their years of wisdom and experience with him. Mr. Paragano learned the building process from the perspective of the different subcontractors, and saw how each phase of construction integrated with one another.
 
Upon his father’s retirement from the new home building business in 1984, Mr. Paragano created his own home building company, D.L. Paragano Homes, and continued to provide his customers with extraordinary service and attention to detail.

Mr. Paragano gives every home his complete attention from start to finish in order to meet – and exceed – his customers’ high expectations. Additionally, Mr. Paragano enjoys strong, long-term relationships with his employees, subcontractors and suppliers, saying they are all like family and that every person who works on his homes knows the other subcontractors and suppliers involved in the building process.
 
Throughout the years, Mr. Paragano has built new homes and renovated countless other homes in northern New Jersey, with a portfolio of fine homes in communities such as Livingston, Cedar Grove, North Caldwell, Short Hills, Essex Fells, Mendham and Mendham Township.

Mr. Paragano has been affiliated with the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) through the Community Builders Association (and previously the Builders Association of Metropolitan New Jersey) since 1982, serving on various committees and as an officer for many years. Mr. Paragano has served on the NJBA Board of Directors since 2004, and on the National Association of Home Builders Board of Directors since 2007.

In addition to his undergraduate degree from Villanova University, Mr. Paragano received his MBA from Seton Hall University. He is also a licensed home builder, real estate sales person and broker with numerous professional accolades.
