On Wednesday, the New Jersey Builders Association held a forum on the recent decision by the Supreme Court to return affordable housing enforcement to the courts and the Court’s decision barring the Christie Administration from seizing local affordable housing funds. Thomas F. Carroll, III, Esq. of Hill Wallack, LLP moderated a panel of speakers that included Art Bernard of Art Bernard and Associates; Stephen M. Eisdorfer, Esq. of Hill Wallack, LLP; David B. Fisher of K. Hovnanian Homes; Lori Grifa, Esq. of Archer & Greiner P.C.; and Robert A. Kasuba, Esq. of Bisgaier Hoff. Nearly 60 people attended the event to hear the speakers address the immediate and major effects the Court’s decisions will have on their business and the State’s housing sector. NJBA thanks those who were in attendance and our panelists for sharing their insight. NJBA extends our sincere appreciation to our host and NJBA member, Woodard & Curran.
